I've got 16 on my Michelins and I don't think their anywhere near needing replacement. I have fun in my xfire so they are not babied at all, but neither are they beat up constantly.

Since my lease gives me a total of just under 50k miles, I figure I'll change them around 25k, that way I only need to do it once.
