Re: Muffler, tint, intake questions
Listen here you little *****. I went with an Ansa because I wanted the sound that the Ansa produced. I can afford to put whatever I want to on my car. I am not some 18 year old punk that has to count my pennies to do mods. Everything you do on a Crossfire is going to be expensive. Get used to it, or sell it and go buy yourself a honda civic. God forbid when you have to buy 9 quarts of synthetic oil to do an oil change. I am sure you will cut corners there.
Coming in this forum and insulting others is not a good way to get started.
BTW - What exactly do you think a cat back is? Cat back refers to the portion of the exhaust system from the outlet of the catalytic converter to the final vent to open air. This generally includes the pipe from the converter to the muffler, the muffler, and the final length of pipe to open air. In my case, I removed the resonator and replaced the piping from just behind the back catalytic converters to the ANSA exhaust, so by definition, I do have a cat back system. Having said that, the weak spot in our cars is in the exhaust manifold. We do not currently have an option for true headers, although a solution is on the way. Without headers, any money spent on a cat back will not produce any significant gains on these cars.
