I just purchased an 05 Crossfire Limited roadster six speed, and have fallen in love with the car. Regarding the drop in price, my cousin works for a local Chrysler dealership and told me the car was going to be discontinued. Not sure when, but it is soon enough for chrysler to stop the training he was under going on Crossfire repair. You see, he is an ASE master tech who works mainly on Vipers, Prowlers, and Mopars other "exotics." While shopping, I looked at the SLK 350, Porsche Boxter, and the new C6 vette. Since I have owned 5 Corvettes, still have a 2001, I went with the Crossfire. The car has the Mercedes build with an exotic American look--couldn't resist;-) I have yet to see another on the road, unlike my Corvettes. I am planning my mods now, only had the car 3 weeks, but I think I'll start with the K&N filters, door sills, and may be Borlas if I can find a muffler without round tips... I like the stock tips, may have to modify the Borla muffler some... Could any of you recommend some sites devoted to the Crossfire (i.e. Mods, production numbers, catalogs to order from, etc). I am used to picking up an Eckler's or Mid-America book and ordering whatever I wanted for my Vettes...
