In the manual, it states that if it does not show the oil level (high, low 1 qt., etc.), or if the oil level warning light stays lit while testing, there is a problem with the system. Where is the oil level indicator sensor located? Any clues on how to troubleshoot the system?
Mine does the same thing, bothered me at first but not so much now since I know why it's doing it. I actually took mine to a dealership to see why and they said it was "bad" and needed to be replaced. So of course they said they could fix it for some rediculous price. You can get a new oil level sensor for like 150 bucks. I haven't fixed it yet but if I do before you get yours fixed I'll let you know how it goes.
