Re: Ignition key won't turn
Please don't think this is an isolated incident. It's not. My crossfire has 50,000 miles on it. The first time the key was stuck, I was at home. I had to have it towed to a dealership. When it got there, they were able to jiggle the key enough to get it to start. I thought it might be an isolated incident too, and just made sure to straighten out my wheels before turning off my car.
The next time it happened it left me stranded. I had to tow it at my cost as the warranty did not cover a second towing. The key lock cylinder now has to be replaced, along with the key. The dealership also had to order an extra part to fix it (don't even know what this is). All of this at a cost around $700. They have had to call in an ignition specialist to even get the ignition out of my car.
If you have a Crossfire, it is very likely you will have to have this replaced. At the first sign it is doing this, get it replaced or you will end up stranded too.
