I guess I should try the Mercedes again. I have the Sears openers too. Believe me I tried every suggestion, Pizza guy did exactly what you did. You don't know how many times I was up and down the ladder etc. One day mine decided to work, my wifes car, so far, not so lucky. With all this talk about this subject I will try again this evening.
