The real issue is that Magnesium is almost 99% cast or injection molded. It's traded on the materials markets by the ton.
Seam-welded magnesium tubing is known to be weak and also demand for straight tube on the industrial scale is extremely low. Therefore most people who use magnesium for tube will buy bar-stock and drill/bore the tube, which is what I recommend to you.

Demand for Magnesium is extremely low. You are talking about 20 million + tons of Aluminum worldwide produced vs 400,000 tons of Magnesium. That is 50x less demand and its availability is much lower as a result.
ya round is probbaly going to be my only option, im trying to not set the brideport on fire though
btw, magnesium creates its own o2 when it burns, it will burn under water.
