If the tires are NEW and if it is what you really want (color, transmission, etc.) and you observe no first gear popping, no leaks, good brakes (preferably not the original dusty pads) and maybe new battery ... I MIGHT go along with it. (If it has the original, white battery, it needs a new battery NOW - this is an issue with these cars).
But one member here picked up the same car, in auto, with 22K on it for under $11,000 last fall. Of course, she had to put a battery in it and tires on it....
