I found an article in BenzWorld on rebuilding a similar unit. They call their unit a Duo Valve, that seems a suitable name for it.
The valve appears about halfway through the article, it's a good read.

Me either.

I have a distinct feeling those Torx-head "screws" are actually drive rivets. That would explain why they sheared for the fella'. I doubt that it is considered a serviceable piece.
