Mark, I know what you went through with your dog. We had to put our 12 year old yellow lab down while we were on South Padre this winter. One of the hardest things I've ever done. We rescued a Border Collie a week later. It helped getting another dog.

thank you on your comments Bruce re: the dog. Sorry to hear of the loss of yours too. Hard to do after all those years with them, almost like a section of one's life being closed, and another part ready to open. I appreciate that. Mine was a Border too, sable and white. I'm looking for another as we speak. Did you get yours on the Midwest Border Collie Rescue site? Seeing one tonight, a Border cross with maybe a beagle. Shorter hair, but same personality and energy and characteristics as my last.
Too bad we won't see you this time, always glad to see you. I might not even be there either,
but hopefully we all can get in a gathering at Lola's in Waconia, or maybe a stillwater, or Somerset WI gathering in the fall. That would be a nice gathering.
