Additional cost to transfer warranty
Did you know that when you sell your Crossfire, the buyer, assuming he is the second owner, does not get the 7year/70,000 mile warranty? The 3-year/36,000 warranty is transferable, but the drive train warranty requires that the second owner must pay a $150 charge, and that is only available if the 3-year is still intact. A third buyer cannot get the drive train warranty at all.
If anyone wishes confirmation of these facts, send me a stamped, self-addressed envelope and I'll be happy to send you a copy of a Diamler-Chrysler advisory.
