Well, seeing that your 5-year-old PS2s only have <700 miles on them, they SHOULD look like new ones.
Pirelli tires come on Ferrari vehicles, but so do Bosch windshield wipers.
I've driven a set of Pirellis down to the belts, and loved the grip but hated the flat-spotting, the rough riding, and the telegraphing of ALL road irregularities to my steering wheel. Responsiveness was great, but the abuse was not.
Also not a fan of paying an additional $600 just to gain an additional .01g in the skidpad.
