There's been so much discussion about the lack of updated NAV discs for the Crossfire factory NAV system and I just have to say - it seems very odd that this car, or any car for that matter, would have a completely proprietary NAV system in it. That just doesn't make economic sense. Why code all new programming for every different make and model? Surely there has to be some crossover somewhere with another system. It's just nuts that nobody has been able to uncover it yet, or that none of the players involved in the manufacture of the various units has said something similar. Really, it should be as simple as "use the new discs from (insert make and model here) and you'll be fine." But no.
