I removed and completed all of the necessary repairs. For some reason I cannot get the ignition back into it's housing. It is the original iginition and it was a little difficult to remove. I can get it half way into the housing but the last 1/2 inch is not possible. I am able to depress the pin and get it into the slot but that is it. The back of the ignition is hitting a bracket that is is mounted on some tubular steel. I have watched the removal video on Youtube. I wiggled mine out the same way. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I had the same problem... a little elbow grease is all thats needed. It is a very tight fit for that last 1/2" but it will go if you coax it. Of course, it has to be clear of any bracket etc.
