the wavetrac is a really good unit, but once they build one for our platform, they are going to have like 3-4 people run one to verify fitment, lockup, capacity, etc. So it will be a properly engineered unit. Its just aimed at the drag racing crowd.

Helicals like to unlock around corners, due to varying wheel speeds. It cant figure out how to distribute torque (when purposely spinning the rear end around a corner) thats why I need a clutch type that stays locked up 100% on acceleration and decel

Again I will point out that you seem to be a well informed owner that researches (overly so??) potential mods for your car. But did you even read what the difference between a 'regular helical' (Quaife) and a WaveTrac is?? Go their website, watch the vid, and it will become obvious that the Wavetrac stays locked during ACCEL AND DECEL. It's the non-load conditions where it's open. Can you think of a reason you need a locked diff when there is no appreciable lod applied?

When I was 23 I was certain I knew everything, when I hit 33 I realized I didn't know ****, then at 43 I was just starting to temper the amount I did know with the volume of information still unlearned...
