It doesn't seem to be a common problem but a couple pages back Mophreakous had the same problem - not sure if he figured it out or not.
I still have the new one I bought in a box just in case but the old one is still working great after almost a year.
Keep at it!
Im still having a hell of a time. Luckily I have another car.
Im trying to get this fixed this weekend but here is where I am. I have the assy out of the car. I removed the plate on the assy took out the pin and the spring but still cant turn the key. I bought a new assy but now I can not get my old tumblers out to put them in the new one. Im pretty fustrated.
In a post in the middle of the thread someone used a hacksaw to cut the old assy to get to the tumblers. However im not sure if I have to replace the tumbers? Do I have to get re-keyed?
Need help here. Thanks in advance.
