mine did not have that issue but as a preventative measure i took the fuzzy side of black industrial velcro and ran it along the back of the door handle. it feels nice and is stuck there for good unless of course i want to remove it. you can not see it back there so i have no reason to take it off.

you can get the strong adhesive industrial velcro in rolls at walmart for cheap. i use that stuff for everything. i even used it to hold a mini dry cell battery in my old car and it held up to road racing and everything.
