BTW, I also ran a set of Fuzion zRi tires... got about 17k out of them... if you want to count the lat 3k when they were almost slicks...
Let's plan for an AMG factory visit in the spring!
I shopped on line last night. I will have to order them in, but think I will go that direction. I emailed a guy in Germany already and the replies were about 50/50 out of his office that all seasons will fit the bill for mud/snow requirement. Most haven't even bothered just counting on not being involved in an accident.
He did mention that Stuttgart had an usually heavy snow fall last winter and you will be well north of there. He also said the AAFES shop is terrible and any repair takes forever to get parts and is crazy expensive. I imagine you will be better off with a true domestic car. Hopefully I will catch a brake with a domestic drivetrain.
The AMG tour is a must! I think we PCS about the same time so I will ping you on a PM when up and running over there. Stuttgart is good for the new Mercedes museum and Porsche factory tour.
I will let you know how the tires work out. Thanks for the link and help.
