Talking install, I suspect that the rear will need shims for the pumpkin to align the pinion with the ring depending on the final layout. I did my rear first and had no issues with phantom grip, but it was the same differential and it all went in ok.

You have to remove the axles, probably the seals should be replaced for the axles, and then you gotta pull the pinion and pumpkin out of the case to swap the new carrier in. THat comment on pulling the axles is not a small task and it all takes time. My first swap in and out was about 8 hours of learning and doing. Time probably could be as little 3-5 hours with a lift.
