Max, I don't think Steve was bent outta shape. He's simply saying that by the time you go to Lowes twice, Home Depot three times, and the ADD kicks in and you forget things, measure incorrectly, bla bla bla... it's easier for most of us to simply purchase from NW.
Not to mention, Rob is a great upstanding guy and I enjoy helping home-grown businessmen. DIY works for some folks, and hats-off to them.
It's like when hunters tell me how much cheaper venison is than buying beef from a store...
But when you add up the ammunition, guns, scopes, hardee's biscuits, gas to and from the field, processing fees, and that $300 leafy-wear camo... it ain't much cheaper. In fact, I'm such a terrible hunter it normally costs me MORE.
Not to mention, I can buy beef and not have to rot on a hillside for eight hours in 20 degree weather.
And miss work the next week due to being sick.
Been there, done that.
