Having been on the forums for, oh, almost four years, I've learned not to ask the question "Is it possible". It always brings the answer "Anything is possible with enough time and money".
Yet, I can't help but wonder, is it '
feasible to expect to be able to make a gauge upgrade with a reasonable amount of cash and a reasonably clean vocabulary during the install?
What I have in mind is one of two options:
- Upgrade the speedometer with an SRT-6 speedo (200mph)
- Upgrade all gauge panels, using the white gauge faces from a Mercedes (I think they go up to 180mph)
It's not a huge priority at the moment, as I'm saving for some other things. My biggest question is whether or not the units are interchangeable using factory wiring.
If the SRT gauges are not an option, I would LOVE to have white-faced gauges to match the exterior and be just a little different.
For those wondering, yes I plan to justify the increase in mph reading in the future, if the Rotrex kit becomes a reality.
Thoughts?
