Do you mean your automatic was in 3rd ....hitting the rev-limiter....and it wouldn't shift to 4th on it's own?

I thought I read on this forum that if you click left from a stop....stomp on it .....that even if you didn't slap to the right....that the automatics would go ahead and shift at redline???
