Do you mean your automatic was in 3rd ....hitting the rev-limiter....and it wouldn't shift to 4th on it's own?
I thought I read on this forum that if you click left from a stop....stomp on it .....that even if you didn't slap to the right....that the automatics would go ahead and shift at redline???
Yest if you shift the auto manually it will change gears on its own at redline. I cant shift manually because I have the operate mine NOS buttons so I do my passes at full automatic. At 90s, I'm in 4th gear already and I hit the rev limiter 5 or 6 sec before the finish line. So I stop giving the car gas and NOS then punch it at the end again. Hope it makes sense now.
