I'm not sure about our fan assembly's but I do know on some you can just replace the motor as an assembly, just have to remove the fan blade assembly and then swap out motors. Can this be done on our type of fan instead of having to replace bearings even though cheaper? Has anybody else done this before, or do you have to get the whole complete assembly? then yes replacing the bearings would be cheaper, but I would still be concerned on the condition of the windings and such.
