I would dump both of your alls cars. Sounds like you both purchased vehicles that were either wrecked or abused or both. A lot of guys on this forum haven't had any problems, aside from an IC pump and have 40K, 50K, 60K on their cars. Polish them up and trade them.

I bought mine new from a dealer as a distributor rep. car. Had 7k on it and its on 07. I've pretty much had problems from day one with it, at this point I'm tired of dicking around with the dealer and I'm not gonna lose money selling it. So I'm stuck with it until someone totals it, it mysteriously burns to the ground, or everything starts working again.
Im still going to modify it, hopefully I'll find the limits on the motor in a most dramatic way
