I am glad it worked out and that you didn't have to spend much. The dealer would have gone for the thousand. I hope you learned to never go to the dealer! Sounds like you found a good shop. I am sure the independant MB guy was very comfortable with your car once he popped the hood in case he hasn't worked on a Crossfire before. these cars are very durable and well made. I wouldn't be too quick to sell it now that you have a good mechanic and your support group on here
