Personally, I would do a number scheme that is based solely on your creations. This forum and others can keep track of the history of Crossfire conversions, but once you assign a number, it is locked in. I do not think that this would diminish what others have done, and would set your creations apart. Just my 2 cents.

I dont think it would, each one of the Crossfires with the V8 had imput to help each other out. So I'm sure if anyone was to do this and install a V8 on there own and knew about the previous numbered cars, and knew enought to give themselves a number they would know what is going on here and would seek help from the"Founding Fathers"

so in turn there would still be order..
