So, is this something potentially serious? Car runs fine. Guy at A-Z said, "I'd remove and re-tighten my gas cap and give it a day or so to clear, if it won't clear, then spend some money to have it looked at".
Hate to head for the Dragon if there is a chance I'll be flat-bedding it to some garage somewhere! I guess I could stop by the dealer's on the way up ( no Chrysler dealer here in town anymore, but the dealer I bought it from is on the way... if I go thru Gainesville like I did last year.)
But I can see troubleshooting the fuel and electronics systems taking DAYS.
Sounds like a gas cap code to me. Was it tightened all the way when you checked it? If not check all your EGR vaccum lines before getting it serviced. Maybe even take off the EGR valve and clean it out. Good luck. SRT guys are lucky enough to not have to deal with EGR equipment
