Ok, yes I realize this post is from 4 years ago... but...

Was there a fix for the missing illumination on the red area of the fuel gauge? This area lights up fine on my temp gauge, but doesn't light up on the fuel gauge. Is this considered normal for everyone? I recall running my tank nearly empty to see if it'd illuminate but no dice.

I'm just wondering if everyone else decided to take ctsemicon's advice and remove the cluster and install a bulb in there. If so, what are the bulb numbers and such I'd need to find a replacement?
