Because you can't really screw around with the timing and Air/Fuel ratio's. To help the cars ECU from going crazy I started running an octane booster that brought it up 4 points. So it became the equivalent of 95 octane. I'm running it this way, just to make it a little easier to swallow all that new found cold air.
If I have to add octane booster every tank, I'll pass on your intake!
