No Dan, that was not why I mentioned it.

You DO NOT have to add octane booster. I was just saying, that I personally do it for myself. There is no need to add anything because of the intakes. You can run just the regular old 91 octane. I was commenting on the part of the request for 93/95 octane by these companies that remap ECU's. I was trying to express my understanding of why they do that. Sorry, if it came across as* backwards. It was late and I was tired...Sorry.
