I notice as it gets colder, the number of roadster posts seem to go down. I'll submit one of my final threads before the roadster goes into hibernation next month. I had to pick my daughter up in Detroit Thursday night. I made the whole 364 mile round trip topless, even though the temp ranged from 62->50o. (Fessing up, I had the windows up and the heater blasting.) I also ran into three little rain sprinkles. With radar detector on, I drove 80-90 almost all the way and still calculated 28 mpg on the fill up when I arrived back home. These are awesome little sports cars.
I am doing homework on the purchase of a Crossfire Roadster, this will be my first sports car and first long trip in the US. so the top comes down. I am looking in the south and southwest US and found a couple that I am interested in and will be leaving in the next 3 weeks to see what I can find. Although I must say there are more than a few models that sound outstanding located in the northeast. The fuel economy that you shared is great to know as I am driving the car back to Vancouver.
