Default Re: Wraping my headliner in carbon fiber next week

I considered doing this. I purchased the 3M di-noc, the adhesive prep and I have stripped the headliner board surface clean, very time consuming. My concern is I believe the interior acoustics will change in a negative way. Headliner material has a foam backing I believe reduces "noise". Also, I think the plastic trim panels will not fit as well against a headboard without the foam backing. Am I wrong?
