H&R Sport Springs or Eibach
The time has come for me to make a decision here. I've read positive posts on both of these spring sets. I am looking for springs that will not make the ride unbearably stiff, will improve road handling, and improve the appearance of the large wheel gap.
What I have read is that the Eibachs are a bit stiffer than the H&R.
However, I have also read that the Eibachs also have a more even stance rather than the rear being higher than the front, graded look that exists on the stock suspension. Visually I think this would be preferable.
On the Tire Rack website, it says that the Eibachs "require the rear bump-stops to be trimmed by 20 mm".
Can anybody confirm these three points? I am leaning toward the H&R at this point. I'd rather not deal with a significantly stiffer ride and trimming the rear bump stops.
Also, it would be helpful to know what camber kits people are using. I am assuming fellow Crossfire owners are doing camber plus alignments.
Thanks a lot!
