I found this thread in a google search. I have a 3.5 I installed in my vw vanagon- currently modifying the ecu ccd system. The donor is a 94 vision tsi. it is mid-engined, under the back seat. you can see it come to fruition here: http://autos.groups.yahoo.com/group/vanagon-lhs/
