the vanagon cooling system is too efficient for this app. it never gets over 175f and it needs to exceed 200f to close loop. then the overdrive will work and it will wake up and pass smog too. so, I am on a thermostat hunt.
she weighs 3770 lbs with dog. full of gas and no back seats or hatches, which are all painted and ready for soundproofing.

Hi Thummper,

Thought you might like this.
My friend showed up in his Vanagon with a Subaru conversion. He wanted ultimate simplicity for travels through South America. Any thing that could be replaced by common off the shelf, readily avail parts, was. Ford escort distributer and belts, chevy rectifier/ignition module, hoses and fittings replaced with common size dime a dozen parts, and the fuel injection was removed and a weber carb installed It has an R1 motorcycle silencer, and the obligatory MSD coil. He also added "highway gearing" to the VW transmission. Says it will do 80mph no problem.

man, I'm trying to get away from subies--one was enough--the engine conversion was less than half the journey-- the other half was the trans.

Thumbs up Re: Chrysler 3.5 V6 motor

she passed smog and the referee loved it. the visual inspection went swimmingly, except for the home-made fuel tank--it must be carb certified-- so i can modify a vw tank and that will qualify--
my overdrive clutch is worn out due to the po towing with it. I could probably switch the overdrive feed wire to the dash and turn it off when towing--but next month it gets rebuilt-- this is going to be a fast winter with the list of refinements I have. paint and body as well.
the bedseat is coming along--
the referee was pleased to see the type of conversion that just isnt done much anymore, at least in this scope. what a rush to get through that veil. I had been dreading it for months.

I am totally wigged out for a month now about youtube and the new world order.
come out of disneyland and see the world for what it really is. it is better in the end. You tube list to view--
mark koernke, winston shrout, jordan maxwell [the law], infowars.com, will get you started.

this left me low for a couple of weeks, but there is a way to a remedy. target practice is one of them.

I didnt know the U.S. is not a government but a corporation with a president, vice president and treasurer. It's also been bankrupt since 1933, and everything has been confiscated as collateral with it's citizens, finally, in 1933. chapter 11 reorganization was 70 years long and just ended in 1999.
We are property of united states, inc. located in the district of columbia where we all reside on paper, so the illusion of voting only gets us 3 delegates total. they choose who takes office in the corporation. and they do what they want, whivh explains why we get jailed and fined and taxed and poisoned ad nauseum. technically, the house and senate are our legal guardians and own us like slaves.
we are close to being liquidated and nobody wants to talk about the fema camps.....WAKE UP
take action by educating yourselves--take control of your strawman and get out of the companies house. it will get you off the fema camp list. disneyland is closing---theres so much to learn--

and its all upside down from what we have known our whole lives....adults cry and languish in confusion until the search leads them to solutions.
