Thanks for all of the positive comments. I think the mental addiction is harder to get over than the nicotine addiction, but I am doing well, and think less about it every day. This time I tried Chantix, and for the first time in my life, I know that I have quit for good, and I do not believe that I would have ever succeeded without Chantix. There have been some serious side effects reported by some people that have taken it, but I was cognizant of those side effects as I took it. I did not have any thank goodness. Anyway, being 50 years old with 1 and 4 year old sons, I knew that I needed to do it not only for myself, but for them as well.
