This post contributes nothing to 32's question. But I could not resist saying that my wife enjoyed having a smoke on her drive home from work for MANY years.

One of the conditions we agreed to when we bought her Crossfire was that she can't smoke in the car. I'm very proud of her as she has kept her promise.

Thanks for all of the positive comments. I think the mental addiction is harder to get over than the nicotine addiction, but I am doing well, and think less about it every day. I have tried many times in the past..... Nicorette, Cold Turkey, Wellbutrin, and even Hypnosis. This time I tried Chantix, and for the first time in my life, I know that I have quit for good, and I do not believe that I would have ever succeeded without Chantix. There have been some serious side effects reported by some people that have taken it, but I was cognizant of those side effects as I took it. I did not have any thank goodness. Anyway, being 50 years old with 1 and 4 year old sons, I knew that I needed to do it not only for myself, but for them as well.

Confine a heavy smoker to a single room, put a huge filter in there and clean it often, and it's still going to smell like ***. There just isn't anything that can overcome constant cigarette smoke. Filters help, but only to an extent.

Get her smoking weed. It smells better.
