I've got an old Z car parked in one of my garages, When I get a chance I'll measure the rear Hatch glass, just to see how close it is to the Crossfire.
I mentioned em awhile back, and actually Louvers really got started in the 60's. You're right, they aren't for everybody, but it's a "retro" look I think the Crossfire could pull off if done right. Say with a blacked out roof, slats, and hatch.
Especially since the late 60's Mustang Fastback was just one of the two cars from the 60's the "Creators" had in mind when he penned the Crossfire Concept car.
I think there are a lot of retro touches and paint jobs that the Crossfire could get away with. All it takes is cash and a little imagination.

Thanks... good read. Sometimes styles of the past can come back. I started reading some old threads on the subject and somebody photoshopped a crossfire with louvers. If done right they would look good.
