I think it looks especially good with the wing in it's "aroused" position.
Probably would look best on a Black car.
This is EXACTLY the look I was trying to get when I bought my XF. Researched for such and never found any anywhere.
In the '70s I had a YELLING YELLOW VW DASHER that I had black anodized aluminum louvers put on when bought brand new from the show room. Loved 'em. They were called "Shadow"s back then (1975).
I went with black tinting on all but the front windows on the XF when I could not find any. Works great except at night in unlit areas. Looks cool too IMO.

Never a "Factory" or "Dealer" option on the 2 seater AMX, but I think they looked pretty good.
Thanks to the rear window being recessed, the louvers were completely hidden when viewed from the side.

I personally think on a black or white crossfire they would look great. If done right of course. I would step up to the plate but I have no idea how to get them made.
