The only way you would hydrolock the engine is driving through standing water, a couple drops of water aren't going to hurt. If I'm not mistaken, you would need close to or equal to the volume of the combustion chamber at TDC. K&N filters dont let in as much water as you would think.. Its actually tough to get it through (test it out next time you clean the filter). I would imagine the sl55 setup would be prone to the same risk of hydrolock as the needswings.
Thanks DS, I kind of suspected that but it still makes me nervous and I just told our friend I'd sell him my 3" polished aluminum CAI. I don't think however, that the SL55 would be quite as vulnerable and I probably wouldn't have to pull the thing off when going to the Chrysler dealer since the mechanics have never seen a Crossfire LOL
