Nothing wrong with that, the SL55 setup is definately a nice option for a clean factory look. The way is see it, if you're in the position to hydrolock either one, you're probably in trouble anyways lol.

I had no trouble getting my car's warranty issue taken care of with my Needswings dual CAI on the car. I would guess though every dealer is different. As for the water issue we had two real heavy rain days, I'm talking several inches in an hour and no issues whatsoever. The CAI I'd be a bit concerned with is the TVT which picks up the air from the fender well, that would concern me a bit.

Here you go buddy. Someone is going to tell me to clean up my engine bay just like they told me to clean up my garage.

You really need to clean up that engine bay.

The eBay intake isn't cool, but I do like that polished plate he put over the radiator. Looks nice.

As for hydro lock with *any* type of intake on this car... I don't see it happening. Guys with bikes run open K&N filters, with absolutely nothing around them, just hanging out there in the wide open. Even a stock Harley intake isn't all that protected from incoming water. None the less, even when riding in the pouring rain, and I have and know many bikers who do, no problems with water getting sucked in except in a few extreme cases - and most of those I've seen have been on custom bikes with the pointed cone type filter/intake, pointing straight up (rather than pointing forward).

Yeh JJ, I'm gettin' the picture. I offered the author of this thread my CAI but I'm having sellers regrets now that all of you have dispelled my fears about hydro Lock.
