Saving a buck or three on your battery is not too wise. Get the best battery you can afford especially if you live in the northern areas.
When it comes to batteries, and all things being equal the heavy battery is the most expensive as it contains the most lead. To store electricity you need mass and the greater amount of lead you have the better. The lightweight batteries can give high CCA's but the amount of power stored is lower.
High CCA's come from having thin plates. The same battery with thicker plates would give lower CCA's but store more power.
The best battery for you depends on the balance between plate quantity and weight, not less dollars.
