When it comes to batteries, and all things being equal the heavy battery is the most expensive as it contains the most lead. To store electricity you need mass and the greater amount of lead you have the better. The lightweight batteries can give high CCA's but the amount of power stored is lower.
High CCA's come from having thin plates. The same battery with thicker plates would give lower CCA's but store more power.
The best battery for you depends on the balance between plate quantity and weight, not less dollars.

Hi SRTpowa,
I am about to run the same battery setup you have but with the newer a Deka ETX20L with 310 CCA. I know this post is a million years old, but did you have any electrical problems from running such a small battery? People have told me that it can damage my modules....PCM, SRS, Skreem, etc. Any info would be appreciated if you see this. Thanks.

What is it these past few days with people responding to OLD threads? YES, lots of very good information in old threads - certainly.
BUT.............
If you are going to ask someone a question about something they posted in 2009, just click on the screen name of the person you are addressing, and see if they are still here, this guy left four years ago:

I ran the battery for about a year with no issues, before I sold the car. It wasn't my daily though. Just a weekend car with very low miles, but ran it hard at the track and on the street all the time. I kept a trickle charger on it during the week.
