Did a search with no luck. I did however get sidetracked with other interesting topics! But still no luck

It is to my understanding that wax (which I apply often) is a temporary sealant layer over the clear coat. With that being said - if I applied my new SRT badges right above the side strakes, will they fall off in time as wax wears and strips off - should I first remove the wax layer, and stick the decal on the actual clear coat?

If so what can be used to safely remove a small portion of wax on then car?

I also want to add slasher stripes - remove wax for those too?
