EDIT: Just checked, no holes for the rubber caps. Also, the wires are kinda worn, but I think they are orange, one with a red stripe (neg, pos).
Has this car had an accident at that area? My hood latch cable and the wire shown wrapped around it in your picture are neatly clipped underneath the radiator support. Both the wire and the cable disappear in front of the radiator
Is that end that you are holding the same wire that is wrapped around the latch cable? I thought it was two wires in the picture.
