The only reason the 4G63T has gotten bad reliability reports is because of 7bolt Crank walk/thrust bearing failure, balance shaft belt failures which cause timing belt failure and skimping on timing belt replacement parts and having the hydraulic tensioner fail. I have eliminated the balance shafts, have all new oem timing parts, and 6 bolt motors generally don't have thrust bearing failures. I beat on my Talon for 3 years at almost double the factory boost with over 100k miles with only one mechanical issue before I gave it to my brother. The seals in the throttle body broke and started to leak.
