Are American batteries crapper than UK batteries. I think most UK drivers would expect up to 10 years not 4 or 5
. Far as I can tell my 04 is original - stood outside for a week at up to -10c started first time. Wouldn't it be easy to check the electrical gremlins idea by replacing the battery and if they go away then replace the old battery and see if they come back?
