Re: Winter Storage Checklist
Geez just when you figure you have everthing covered (no pun intended), I just want to throw out one more possible danger for winter storage. If you have your xFire in your regular 2 or 3 car garage, all comfortable and nice, and you live in an area where snow and ice are common, when ever you pull your daily drivers into the garage, there is always an accumulation of salt containing snow and ice in the wheel wells and undercarriages. As this accumulation melts, it will find its place on the garage floor.
As this "melted" stuff remains on the floor, it will permeate the garage atmosphere with a humidity and salt. I suppose one could argue that the salt molecules are too heavy to just float around, but there is enuff that can be carried by moisture molecules to attack. Try to at least clean out the icy debris, or best yet if temps allow, hose it down and out. Just sayin.......
