Speed is my drug. :shock: :shock:

I had to drive to Vegas for the Consumer Electronics Show last week to deliver a poster for our trade show booth. Left at 4:30am and got to the desert stretch at dawn...no sun yet, but enough light to see any patrol cars for a few miles straight ahead. No cars, trucks were all behind me, and no patrol cars, so I took it up to 140 and then backed off. I decided I'd better not push it further...wasn't worried about me or the car, just the fact that I'd get fired if I didn't deliver the damn poster.

For the most part, averaged about 110 playing cat and mouse with a Lexus sedan...was a ton of fun. The 140 was on a straightaway, but not a shake to be felt at all...really impressive compared to my old Miata that felt like it was gonna shake apart at 115. Wish there was a closed road, tho...hate the idea they might impound the car over 100mph. :x
